Shop terms and conditions

Agreement to terms and conditions

By purchasing any goods through the online Bikewise shop (“the Shop”) you accept these terms and conditions and are bound by them.  If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you should not use the Shop.

Offer only available in New Zealand

The products and information contained in the Shop are only offered to purchasers within New Zealand.

Purchase conditions (no commercial use)

We offer the products in the Shop to you at affordable prices to help promote and improve bike safety. 

You agree that you will only purchase products for your own personal use or for use in a Bikewise event at work or at home. 

You must not use the Shop for any commercial purposes, such as to resell products or to link to other sites for the purpose of reselling products.

We may block access to the Shop or cancel a product order in respect of any person we believe to be violating these terms and conditions.

No guarantee products will be instock

We will make every effort to fulfill orders placed using the Shop, but we do not guarantee that the products advertised will always be in stock.

Right to adjust price

We may adjust our prices and product descriptions at any time without notice.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

You agree that, if you are purchasing products from us for the purposes of a business, the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 do not apply to that supply.

Title and risk

Title to all products supplied to you will be retained by us until payment is made in full.  All risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you on delivery.

Delivery of orders

Orders received by 3.00pm will be dispatched that day. Orders received after 3.00pm will be processed and dispatched the next business day.   Wickliffe will use all reasonable efforts to ensure delivery of the order to the customer. 

  1. By 12 noon the business day following dispatch, provided the customers location is within a Main Centre; or 
  2. By 2:00pm the following business day for all other Regional locations that are not Rural; and
  3. By not later than 5.30pm the 3rd business day following the dispatch for all rural locations.

“Main Centres”

Means the main city centres and towns as described in the New Zealand Post Postal Users Guide to which the courier can execute overnight deliveries to business addresses by 12 noon the following business day. 

“Regional Centres”

Means the regional centres as described in the New Zealand Post Postal Users Guide to which the courier can execute overnight deliveries to business addresses by 2.00pm the following business day.

Returning an order

Please choose carefully as we do not refund if you change your mind or make a mistake while ordering. 

We are happy to exchange your goods within 14 days with proof of purchase, providing the goods are in their original condition.

Please ensure you phone the Help Desk on (06) 354 6337 to receive a Return Authority No., this must be written on all cartons returning to us.

Except where the goods are faulty, you are responsible for the freight charges to return the product to us.

Payment

An invoice will be issued to you for your prompt payment. Invoices will be issued at the end of each month by the NZTA.

Governing law

The Shop and these terms and conditions are governed by the law of New Zealand.  When you access the Shop, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
